Special ship unloaders transfer the cargo
from the vessel onto a conveyor belt & into the storage facilities at an
average rate of 15000 tons/day for free flowing materials & 7500 for nonfree
flowing materials. The two shipunloaders are installed
on the jetty. Each having a 600 tons/hour
average unloading capacity. The materials can be transfered
either directly onto trucks or to a belt conveyor which
is installed on the jetty. This
belt transports the incoming materials to a weighing
unit for distribution to storage. |
